Events: Finding your Path

With over 50 students in attendance, this event fostered conversations about passion projects and aspirations among the bright Waterloo community. 5 students made short pitches of their experience in the space including: their start-ups, future ventures and balancing passion projects. Guest appearances were made by seasoned Venture Capitalists Jesse Rogers, David Crow and Velocity+YC alumni Gareth ******.

Fostering the "I've found my people" at each of our community events

Events: a tldr on VC and Kickstarting Ideas

With over 60 students and 10 alumni founders in attendance, this event fostered inspiring conversations between like-minded Waterloo students and alumni. A panel discussion was mediated asking the UW alumni founders questions about VC, kickstarting ideas, funding and their stories. Alumni had rich backgrounds from Velocity alumni, YC alumni to IPO'ing garnering depth in their insight to students.
